Several years in the making, the Accounting Standards Update of Topic 840 (formerly FASB 13) has already made a lot of noise. At the center of it all: the “lease”. Whether you negotiate it, sign it, manage it or book it – these new standards will affect you. While the mechanics of the rule changes are getting fleshed out and as we better understand their intricacy, we still find ourselves wondering: How will this impact me and the way I service my clients? Should I worry?
During this roundtable, we will address and discuss the various implications of the rule changes on the commercial real estate industry.
