The CRE Finance Council's 2010 Founders Award was presented to Dottie Cunningham at the CREFC June Convention held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This award is presented annually to the person who has demonstrated leadership in ethical and professional manner, making significant contributions to the enhancement and development of the commercial real estate finance industry. Dottie served as CEO of CRE Finance Council from 1999 to 2010.
 
GE CAPITAL REAL ESTATE promoted Kathleen Carey as Chief Compliance Officer. Carey assumes the role after serving as COO for GE Capital Real Estate’s Investment Management group, as well as leader of the group’s global Six Sigma team.
